About Riva Beach Resort –
This 3 star resort being located at just a 100 m walk from the Mandrem Beach offers you the comfort of your room with view of a beautiful riverfront crossing which you have a pristine beach.

Unlike other famous tourist beaches like the Calangute, Candolim or even Baga the Mandrem Beach will make your holidays full of pleasure and relaxing. The charm increases even more in the night when you lay down on the beach side in the cool breeze with millions of stars to sooth your eyes.

How about your rooms?

Just lay down with your book

Well the resort has some amazing rooms which comes with a beautiful riverfront and others without. No matter which category you choose you can be assured of the best comfort and service.

We booked for deluxe room but to our destiny were offered an upgrade to the super deluxe room which comes with a balcony to sit out and have the amazing view- remember the riverfront I talked about in above lines.

What to do for the day ?

The best thing about resorts is that they should be a destination within themselves and this one fits into the category. There are various activities you can indulge yourself in along with your kids.

  • Let’s get fit

Start your morning with a walk on the beach followed by yoga for which you can even have an instructor from the resort.

  • Time to get some swimming lesson’s

Yes, the resort provides you with a trainer for you don’t feel sad being not able to dive into there beautiful pool.

  • Time to get yourself wet

    Sunset at Mandrem Beach

Well you are on a beach and a holiday is incomplete without surfing and for those who don’t know how to do that, the resort’s surfing school is at your service.

  • That’s not enough? They have more

You can even get some hands on Kayaking.

All these activities are conducted by the resort itself or else you can just lay down on the beach in peace for which the people are here.

Feeling Hungry?

Time for breakfast

Food is something which can make or break your experience and while we checked in the resort we expected it to be something so – so and heavy on pocket but when the time came to give our taste buds a new experience to our surprise the food was not only delicious come for a nominal price unlike other resorts where the prices are hyped and people on budget have to look for options at places outside.

The complimentary morning breakfast served was also so amazing with a live kitchen to serve you three different types of omelet, boiled eggs, few South Indian dishes and some new dishes out of which that I tasted was the herbs boiled potatoes.

As you enter the resort you will be welcomed by the courteous staff and till you leave they will cater you with a smiling face to make your stay hassle free.

Coming over to the tariff

Well the Riva Beach resort has capped a very justified price for their guest but there is always an option for online booking. That’s the way I grabbed a deal for the deluxe room at Rs. 2500 per night with a complimentary breakfast for two.

  • I like ho to resort focuses on active holidays and offer the guests surfing lessons or yoga for relaxation. Kayaks for renting are also a really nice touch, it’s great paddling on the calm sea, especially at sunset. I don’t think the price is high at all for the services you get.

  • As much as we have been enticed by the charm of Goa the crowded beaches have always dissuade us. But Riva Beach resort does look like something to consider owing to its secluded beach and all those activities right at the resort. Agree with you the resort sounds like a destination in itself and we would love to experience this comfort when we make a visit to Goa.

    • Ya we were too amazed for once because all we had heard was crowded beach and hell lot of expensive being peak season in January….but now I know the best time to visit

  • This sounds like such an amazing place to stay. We have only ever stayed in a few resort hotels but we’re always surprised by their luxury. I would opt for a riverfront room to be closer to the water! Having a complimentary breakfast is also such a nice touch.
